Celebration of Service to America Awards
The prestigious Celebration of Service to America Awards, held each June, recognizes local radio and television broadcasters for outstanding public service in bettering the lives of others. The event is attended by FCC commissioners, members of Congress and radio and television executives from across the country. Station award categories include: Service to Children, Service to Community and the Service to America Television award. In addition to recognizing stations for serving their local communities, the Leadership Award is presented to a public figure outside the broadcast industry in recognition of his or her humanitarian work.
