In support of Mrs. Obama's "Let's Move!" campaign to curb childhood obesity, the National Association of Broadcasters Education Foundation (NABEF) is coordinating a "Let's Move! Flash Workout" featuring 16-time Grammy Award winner Beyoncé. The American Association of School Administrators (AASA), the National Middle School Association (NMSA) and the National School Boards Association (NSBA) have partnered with NABEF in this effort.

Given their enormous reach, broadcasters are in a unique position to raise awareness of what can be done to address childhood obesity. Coverage of the May 3, 2011, "Let's Move! Flash Workout" event is just one way to educate your local communities about the importance of eating well and exercising to live well.

The information in this Broadcaster Toolkit provides resources for participating in the May 3 Flash Workout event and to help you make a great impact in your local communities.
