The broadcast industry is in need of technicians and engineers to set up, operate and maintain the electrical equipment of radio and television stations. Opportunities are available across the country.
As active duty service members and U.S. military veterans, the industry recognizes there are many of you who have the skills and experience to pursue successful careers in broadcast technology.
We want to invest in you by training and paying you to learn the latest technology and advances in broadcast operations through the Technology Apprenticeship Program (TAP).
TAP is designed to set you up for success. You will travel, network, learn and receive hands-on training to ensure a smooth transition from apprentice to broadcast technician or engineer at a radio and/or television station.
As a participant you will receive:
Background or interest in electrical/electronics technology, computer science and information technology, digital technology and radio frequency technology preferred.

The application window for the 2018 program is now closed. NABEF will start accepting applications for the 2019 program in the fall.
